Rania
Bekaa Valley, Lebanon
Through the January storm
“The storm lasted three days. The stove kept the children warm and the fuel lasted until the sun came back.”
Rania lives with her husband and four children in a shelter of timber and plastic sheeting. Last winter a storm buried the camp in snow.
The winter kit arrived in December: a stove, fuel, blankets and boots for the children. She says it was the first winter nobody fell ill.
