The first girl in Year 9

“I want to be an engineer. I am the first girl in my family to reach Year 9.”

Huda missed four years of school. At 13 she joined a learning centre class with girls her age who had missed as much as she had.

A year later she passed the placement test for a public school. Her favourite subject is physics.
