Two mobile clinics that reach villages with no doctor for 80 kilometres.

Many villages around Kassala have never had a doctor. The nearest hospital is a day away, and the journey costs more than a family earns in a week.

One day of a clinic

A doctor, two nurses and a midwife drive out at dawn, set up under a shade and see around 90 patients: children with fever, mothers before and after birth, older people with diabetes. Medicines are free.
